You’re Honour

                      I'm here today stating the incident that my daughter was involved in. I'm her mother. Dawn Marie is my fourteen year old daughter that committed suicide because of three girls who bullied her. One week from today my daughter committed suicide. My son found her in her closet. And she hanged herself in her closet with the dog leash. Your Honour it was a fine day when my daughter hanged herself. Well it was a fine day till then. When my daughter hanged herself she left a note and the note said " mom I'm being bullied by three girls and there is no way out for me".

              Your Honour I don't know what these girls all said. I know they called her names and bullied her but they probably did other things to her that she never told me. I loved my daughter very much and to make it worse my son found her and not me. My son feels very sad and lonely now with not having a older sister by his side every day. I have been feeling terrible a lot and i feel very lonely. I know i have a son at home but not having my older daughter that always was happy never I down unless something bad happen to her. But i guess this must have brought her down a lot.

                         Your Honour I think the right punishment for her should be jail and probation. The reason for that is in jail they have to smarten up or they will get beat. They need to stop being bullies or they will get bullied there. At jail I think she will learn her lesson easier than if she just had to have things taken away from her and do some work. Because in life that's what you are going to have to do because when you get older you are going to work in an everyday life. See if you just get things taken away from you some people don't care because they know they will get them back but see if you go to jail you will have to learn your lesson there and not just get everything you want.

                             Your Honour that is the one thing I ask you to do. And that is to put them in jail. If you don't put her in jail I would love to know why. I think all these girls need it because they are not learning anything. I know I forgave them but just me saying it is fine doesn’t mean it is. Right then I thought it wasn't totally there fault but now I know it is now. If you don't put these girls in jail i don't know if they will learn anything. These girls need prison to learn their lesson. Because the punishments they are supposed to get will not teach them anything.  Your Honour I told you what I want not just to make me happy but so these girls will learn their lesson so I hope you will take my word.

                                            The article is called ''Dead Girl’s Mother Hugs Bullying B.C Teenager''. Written by Ian Bailey. The main idea of the story is that bullying can take people’s lives, ruin people’s lives, and families can lose loved ones all cause some kids will think they are cool bullying. Also even though you bullied a kid who committed suicide doesn't mean that their parents will hate you, won't talk to you, and will want to bully you back. Some parents will just be like ''it is OK as long as you never bully again''. All because of that one, two, or more girls that bullied the one girl more than 10 or even more then that were hurt. Now that you know what bullying can do I think the writer’s statement was that even if you bully doesn't mean every one hates you.

      CONCLUSION

           My conclusion is that the egg would only float on the side that was more denser. The reason for that is cause  water is dence but not dence enough to hold the egg. There for you needed to add something elce to it so it would be dence enough to hold the egg.
Ex. Water +sugar = hold egg
Ex.Water + salt = hold egg
Ex.Water + baking soda =hold egg
Ex.Water = Not holding egg

2. What can you do during term 2 in order to improve your progress report?

             Yes I'm happy with some of my marks. The things I'm happy with are some of my marks are in the 80's. And that some of my marks are good but I don't think that I tried my hardest this term I thought that it would be easy like grade 7 but it isn't. When I' taking test I think that I will get a good mark. But I'm wrong.  Accept for some of them where I get good marks and I get in the 90's. Some of my other marks I'm OK with but I think I can do better if I study cause in grade 7 the test were easy and I thought that grade 8 wouldn't be much harder. But now that I'm in grade 8 I look back at grade 7 and Mr.Catton said that we should of learned alot of this stuff in grade7 so I think that could be a problem for some of us because when we need to learn other stuff we don't have a long time to study the new topic we are on and then after a week of learning we have our test and that is my problem on some of my tests.


       Some of my marks I'm so not happy with. with my marks I got in this report card I thought that I did HORRIBLE!. my marks last year are no where near what I wanted this year. I thought that this year I would be in the 90's and above but I'm not I get good grades in math but that is cause it is my best subject but besides that I have horrible marks in most of my other subjects that I wish I will improve on next term.

                      What do you think people consider about you when they first meet you?
         What I first consider before anything and I know it is that I'm short. They might think that I'm not shy cause i love to talk. They might think that I'm active because in gym classes and recess I like to run around and play.


         How would you respond to the question who are you?

         I would reply I'm Ryan McDonald born May 23 1997. My favorite sport is Hockey. My favorite hockey team is the Calgary Flames! I also enjoy playing basketball and Volleyball. my favorite food is hot wings. My favorite meal is hot wings with rice. My favorite fast food place is Genesis(Chinese food).

        Daniel's Mother

        Daniel's Mother. There are so many questions I want to ask you. the first question I want to ask you is how did it feel  Auschwitz? the reason I'm asking this question is because knowing you are going to a death camp what is going through your mind at this time?   My next question is what do you feel like doing to the Germans when you seen them surrender when the Allie's came to help you, your friends, family, and others
out? The reason I'm asking this question is cause I want to no if you felt like killing the Germans?  My next question is how did you feel when you found out you were free from all the horror and smell of death? The reason I'm asking this question is because I want to know what you are thinking for example I want to know if you were thinking is your family lived through this.

      My next question for you is how did you feel when you found out that your family was still alive and you were not the only one? The reason I'm asking this question is because i want to know if you were really happy or thought it was a lie that your family was a lie? Are you happy that you lived through it when you were very sick? When you seen your family when you and all the other people were freed from the death camp what were your thoughts seeing your husband and children again? This question might be the hardest one i would ask her and it is how would you live not seeing your husband for years and days?


  When you seen the Germans cleaning up all the bodies what did you feel like? The reason I'm asking this question is that I would not be able to look or bare to even think if that was me....so I want to know what did you feel like? When most of your friends were killed and you thought you had nobody to be with in your life what were you thinking? I want to know this because with nobody in your life i want to know if you felt like you wanted to die?

Is hope more important than bread? Is ...
Is hope more important than bread? Is it do you agree or disagree and why?


I agree with both of them. hope can be more important then bread but bread can be better than hope to. You also need both of them together to have it be better. Most people might think bread is better but then other people will think way different.


Is bread better? bread can be more important sometimes because you need food to live to stay strong and so you don't get to skinny. Some people don't need food to live though because they can last without it. Some people will be like "how do you last without that much food I would just give out". So food sometimes you don't need food to live but you need more important stuff like hope and family.

Is hope better?. Some people think food is way better then anything because they are selfish. But when  they get the food and have no  hope or family with them they dont care about food or living they just want there old lives back when they have family, food and people to talk to. Because now they have no family or hope or friends the have nothing in there lives. Some people will have no blankets to stay warm  or no people to talk to to have hope in there lives. so hope is better then bread cause you can last without bread but not  hope.

Leopard Seal Story

     
    They wait a while kicking the seal while it was biting Cody. Then they kicked it  a few more times in the head and then it died. After they killed the seal they unhooked the jaw  off Cody and started heading toward the camp.   
   
    When they were on there way to to camp the ice beneath them fell through and Steve fell into the cold ice his leg was stuck Cody was on the ground knocked out cause when Steve was caring him and Steve fell Cody hit his head on ice. Steve was stuck and he needed help so Tim was pulling him after a few minutes Cody woke up and crawled over and started helping to pull Steve out of the ice. After a few more minutes Steve got out  and started caring  Cody again. When they got near the camp a few  meters out they seen a leopard seal at there camp.

    After about 45 minutes the seal finally left. They got to the hut  and started patching Cody up. Tim leaves  to go radio in for a helicopter (health helicopter). Cody is loosing so much blood and is about to pass out from loosing so much. The helicopter gets to the hut but Cody passes out from loosing so much blood. They get to the hospital and start stitching Cody up. About 3 days later Cody woke up.

   
    Cody asked after he woke up  “ what happen ”. Tim and Steve said u were attached by a Leopard seal. Cody said “ i remember that but how did i get here “. Steve said we  called for help on the radio. When they got there u past out and then you woke up now. When we got to the hospital u almost we dead cause you had lost so much blood but they got  you repaired and patched up.

    3 months later  Cody, Steve, and Tim went back to get more information and research more. When they were researching they had a good hard day of working and when they got back  there was a leopard seal. Steve and Tim told Cody to back up but Cody walked up to it and they stared at each other then the seal started to growl and get mad. Then right when it was going to charge Cody hit it  in the head  fast with a crampon. Cody, Steve, and Tim kept on moving towards the hut. And that is the story of the Leopard seal.

Video game

                   Are video games good or bad?. Video games are good and they are bad for children and adults. Video games can be good because they can teach your kids how to lean and finish stuff like some games are how you have to finish puzzles and other type of games. Some other games you have to build a castle and defend your base and that will teach your kids how to play strategic games. Some other games will ask kids answers like a game for the Nintendo DS there is a game called who's brain is bigger where they will ask you multiple questions about math, social, and other school work.


      Video games are bad to because kids will play them to much they will think it is real. Some kids will get to into games then they will get it taken away cause they did something bad.  Then they will go and they will want to do what they do in the game and want to do it in real life. Some kids will get so mad that they don't have there game they will hurt there self's or do what they to in the game to there younger siblings and they will get in more trouble and hurt there younger one.


       Video games are good and bad but some people might think different. Some people hate Video games and some people don't. Some people have good reasons  why Video games are bad and some people have good reasons why Video games are good. Some Video games are very good for kids cause there are trivia games, and many others that will help kids in school. But some kids love video games so much they never want to go outside and don't have many reasons why they don't want to besides i want to play my game.

What went well?
The thing that went well was that me and my partner worked together good and we finished everything on time.

What would you change next time?
I don't think I need to change anything cause I worked good but sometimes I would fool around but then I would get back to work. And I would also want to try to find out how to put videos in my slideshow.

literacy day in canada

reading is Saskatchewan and many other places is important because if you don't no how to read when you are in elementary school and you can't read you won't be able to pass many tests and you will have o redo grades and it feels like your life is staying in one spot till you pass and move on. If you can't read you wont be able to make it anywhere in life.

School.

kids who are in school say they hate it and then drop out. some kids think  they are cool cause they drop out of school and start selling drugs they think they are all cool. just cause school is hard sometimes doesent mean you should drop out. when you are in school you are really cooler than the kids who drop out and are not cool they just think they are cool. so the thing is  be cool is to stay in school.

haha i thought we really had a test today i was like nooooooo but then it got all better
